2.4 times Welsh Water's total energy use

“Anaerobic digestion could generate 2.4× Welsh Water's total energy use”

wrong Retired in version 2.0.0, 2 October 2026.

Where it appeared: Home page: energy ratio.

Why it failed

It divided the 718,803 MWh by a 300,000 MWh 'total energy use' that had no source. Welsh Water's tables show more than 590 GWh used across water, wastewater and sludge in 2025-26 (tables 6A, 6B, 7E, 8C; water-resources pumping excluded), and the numerator was wrong anyway.
