The model's energy, capital and revenue figures

“Economic Impact Model v1, sheet 'Investment & Returns': energy content 0.2 GWh, and 0.0 for installed capacity, capital, electricity revenue and bond interest”

wrong Retired in version 2.0.0, 2 October 2026.

Where it appeared: /model and /model.xlsx (workbook sheet 'Investment & Returns').

Why it failed

One formula (cell B6) divided methane energy by 1,000 when million m³ × kWh/m³ is already GWh. The sheet showed 0.2 where 183.3 GWh was meant, and everything downstream was 1,000 times too small: about 69.7 GWh of electricity, 8.8 MWe of capacity and £8.4m a year of revenue, against the 0.0 shown (underlying values 0.009 MWe, £0.008m a year). The same slip is in the 'Phased Works' revenue column. The two ways the model estimated capital also disagreed by a factor of 28.
